Neodynamics
Models are now Matlab/Simulink Compatible Neosimulation Engineering is pleased to announce that its NeodynamicsÔ advanced nonlinear models are now compatible with Matlab/Simulink modeling tools, from The Mathworks. Neodynamics models are fast, high accuracy models of complex physical systems. They're constructed by combining measured input and output signals (from physical lab tests, or from 'virtual' tests) with the pattern-recognition power of neural networks. Neodynamics models excel at predicting nonlinear, history-dependent behavior. This makes them especially appropriate for modeling biomechanical systems (natural or engineered tissues, polymeric implants, bio-fluid flows), vehicle suspension components (shock absorbers, elastomeric bushings, tires), and other complex systems. Now, Neodynamics models can be packaged as Simulink 'block' models, and these can be incorporated seamlessly into a Simulink block-diagram. This makes it possible to simulate the complex interactions between the nonlinear Neodynamics components and the other Simulink components, under realistic dynamic conditions, for improved accuracy overall. Simulink-compatible Neodynamics models include two important practical features. One is Validity Limit Checking, which identifies input or output events outside the range of the original model generation data, during a simulation run. The other is Model Adjustment controls, which allow a user to modify a model's behavior so as to simulate a new virtual component. Neosimulation Engineering offers services to build Neodynamics models from customer-supplied data, and to assist in laboratory testing. In addition, Neosimulation builds custom interfaces, to adapt Neodynamics models to other (non-Simulink) environments. Matlab and Simulink are registered trademarks of The Mathworks, Inc. |
